Elizabeth Shaw8 Whitney (John7, Phinehas6, Samuel5, William4, Nathaniel3, John2, John1), daughter of John7 and Sarah (Chapman) Whitney, was born 1840, Waterford, Washington County, Ohio, and died about 1906, Clarinda, Page County, Iowa.

She married, 23 Sep 1860, Delaware County, Indiana, Abraham William Johnson, son of William and Abigail (Plummer) Johnson. He was born 20 May 1836, Rockingham County, Virginia, and died 26 Mar 1920, Lincoln, Lancaster County, Nebraska.

Children of Abraham William and Elizabeth Shaw8 (Whitney) Johnson:

1. Charles Lemuel Johnson, b. 17 Mar 1862, Muncie, IN; d. after 1930, Lincoln, NE; m. Emma Finley.
2. Sarah J. Johnson, b. 1866, Delaware County, IN; d. 8 Aug 1873, Clarinda, IA.
3. Emma Johnson, b. 1872, IA; no further record.
4. William Johnson, b. 1873, IA; no further record.
