Everett⁶ Whitney (Enos⁵, John⁴, Richard³, John², Henry¹), son of Enos⁵ and Eunice (Avery) Whitney, was born 25 May 1805, Wallingford, CT and died 1886, Great Bend, PA.

He married, 9 Mar 1829, Gibson, PA, Julia Merriman, daughter of Asaph and Eunice (Andrews) Merriman. She was born 4 Jul 1809, Wallingford, CT, and died after 1870.
