Ezra5 Whitney (John4, Henry3, John2, Henry1), son of John4 and Thankful (Benedict) Whitney, was born say 1760, and died after 1790.

He married ----- -----.

He lived at, or near, Johnstown, Fulton Co., NY. Nothing is known of his wife or children.[1]

Children of Ezra5 and ----- (-----) Whitney (from census reconstruction):

i. (son)6 Whitney, b. 1774-1790.
ii. (daughter) Whitney, b. 1774-1790.

  • 1790, Ballstown, Albany Co., NY: Ezra Whitney, 1 males over 16, 1 males 0-15, and 2 females.
  • 1800: not found. May have been living with his brother James in Charlton, Saratoga Co., NY.
  • 1810: not found.
  • 1820: not found.
  • (poss.) 1830, Conesus, Livingston Co., NY: Ezra Whitney, 1 male 70-79, 1 male 30-39, 1 male 10-14, 2 males 0-4, 1 female 70-79, 1 female 20-29, and 2 females 5-9. It is possible that the male 70-79 was not the head of household, rather the male 30-39, in which case that record would not apply to this family.
