Francis Nahum8 Whitney (George Washington7, Ezekiel6, Ezekiel5, John4, Benjamin3, John2, John1), son of George Washington7 and Elizabeth (Cook) Whitney, was born 28 Mar 1844, Westborough, MA,[1] and died 26 Aug 1906, Milton, MA, aged 62 years 4 months 30 days, of nephritis.[2]
He married, 2 Feb 1864, Brighton, MA, Charlotte F. Sawyer, daughter of William H. and Lydia B. (Skillings) Sawyer.[3] She was born 14 Mar 1845, Portland, ME, and apparently died before 1878.
He married secondly, before 1878, Sarah M. Adams, daughter of Samuel Dexter and Martha Ann (Cheever) Adams. She was born 29 Mar 1851, Waltham, MA, and died 14 Feb 1907, Milton, MA, aged 56 years 10 months 18 days, of diabetes mellitus.[4]
He resided in Roxbury, MA.
