Frank S. Whitney (William Hildreth, Aaron, [poss.] Jonathan5, Samuel4, John3, Benjamin2, John1), son of William Hildreth and Mary V. (Morrill) Whitney, was born 28 Dec 1860, Sebec, ME,[1] and died 1934, ME. He was buried in Rural Grove Cemetery, Foxcroft, ME.[2]
He married, 1 Nov 1888, Dover-Foxcroft, ME, Lucy L. Brockway,[3] daughter of Damon W. and Julia S. (Dorr) Brockway. She was born Dec 1860, Dover, ME, and died 1913, ME. She was buried in Rural Grove Cemetery, Foxcroft, ME.[4]
Frank and Lucy died s.p. They are buried in the Old Dover Village Cemetery in Dover-Foxcroft, ME.
Notes
Lucy's grave record says she was born in 1858, but the 1870 census of Dover, ME says she is 10 years old. The 1900 census of Portland, ME says she was born Dec 1860. Both records seem to refute the 1858 birth date.
