George A.9 Whitney (Levi S.8, Joel7, Elijah6, Thomas5, Thomas4, Eleazer3, Thomas2, John1), son of Levi S.8 and Sarah Eddy (Knapp) Whitney, was born 26 Oct 1851, Webster, MA,[1] and died 2 Aug 1912, Webster, MA.[2]

He married, 20 Jan 1880, or 20 Jan 1881, Webster, MA, Mary Cecilia Eddy (but "George H." m. Mary C. "Brackett", per marriage record and daughter's marriage record), daughter of Jeremiah and Lucinda Jane (Coombs) Eddy.[3] She was born 15 Jan 1846, Hartford, CT, and died 1940.
