George Huyler⁸ Whitney (Lorenzo Dow⁷, Ira⁶, Hezekiah⁵, Hezekiah⁴, Joseph³, John², Henry¹), son of Lorenzo Dow⁷ and Mahala (Dike) Whitney, was born 17 May 1867, Fairfield, VT, and died 26 Apr 1930, Richford, VT, aged 62 years 11 months 7 days, of chronic rheumatic heart disease.

He never married.

He was living at Wolcott, VT, in 1873.
