Gershom K.⁸ Whitney (Ephraim⁷, Nathan⁶, Nathan⁵, Nathan⁴, Nathaniel³, Benjamin², John¹), son of Ephraim⁷ and Lucy Nash (McCaslin) Whitney, was born about 31 Aug 1843, Columbia, ME, and died 14 Jul 1913, LaGrange, ME, aged 70 years 10 months 14 days, of Bright's disease.^[1]

He married, before 1865, Mary E. -----. She was born May 1845, ME, and died after 1910.

They resided in Medway and LaGrange, ME, where they are both buried.
