Greer McIlvain10 Whitney (Lyman Banks9, Selah S.8, Samuel7, Lyman6, Samuel5, Samuel4, Richard3, John2, Henry1), son of Lyman Banks9 and Mary Emma (McIlvain) Whitney, was born 20 Apr 1887, Orange, OH,[1] and died 26 Feb 1944, Cleveland, OH.[2]

He married firstly, 16 Aug 1915, Cuyahoga Co., OH, Mildred L. Allison,[3] daughter of Henry and Mollie (Nye) Allison. She was born 7 Jun 1896, Sylvia City, KS. Greer and Mildred had no known children.

He married secondly, 31 Jul 1916, Cuyahoga, OH, Helen L. (Bate) Virgin,[4] daughter of William and Helen (Sinclair) Bate. She was born circa 1884, England. Greer and Helen had no known children.

He married thirdly, 23 Dec 1921, Cuyahoga, OH, May J. Hoffman,[5] daughter of George and Augusta (Kemmester) Hoffman. She was born Nov 1889, Cleveland, OH, and died after 1940.
