Hannibal Pratt9 Whitney (Lucius B.8, Ward7, Abel6, Timothy5, Jonas4, Moses3, Richard2, John1), son of Lucius B.8 and Clarissa (Pratt) Whitney, was born 2 Dec 1844, Plymouth, VT, and died 20 Dec 1915, VT, aged 73 years.[1]
He "of Danby" married firstly, 5 Mar 1865, Ludlow, VT, Emma J. Clark, of Ludlow, daughter of Orlando and Maria (-----) Clark. She was born about 1844, Ludlow, VT.[2] She was listed as Emma J. Clark in her parents family in 1880, so apparently she and Hannibal had been divorced, probably before 1874. She married secondly, 17 Apr 1888, VT, Frank A. Lawrence.
He married secondly, 30 Apr 1884, Rutland, VT, Eliza Jane (Johnson)(Moulton) Nims, daughter of Richard and Fidelia (Carroll) Johnson. She was born 18 Nov 1847, Montreal, QC, and died 1 May 1933, Rutland, VT. She had married firstly, Anson Ansel Moulton, son of Heman and Anna Caroline (Hanks) Moulton, born about 1844, Lincoln, VT, and died 16 Sep 1863, Rutland, VT. She had married secondly, 6 Aug 1865, Castleton, VT, Rufus Daniel Nims, son of Supply and Selina (Carruth) Nims, born 23 Apr 1841, and died 15 Mar 1881, Rutland, VT. She had one child by Moulton and five by Nims, but none by Whitney.
Hannibal Pratt9 and Emma J. (Clark) Whitney apparently had no children.
