He married, Newark, NJ, Hannah Stickels, of Newark, NJ, daughter of ----- and Anna (-----) Stickles. She was born about 1818, Dutchess Co., NY, and died after 1870.

He was born in Boston, MA, and at an early age became a resident of Newark, NJ, where he was married and where he ever after resided. He was a prominent and well-know resident of that city.
