Henry J.9 Whitney (Norman8, Samuel7, Samuel6, Joseph5, Timothy4, John3, John2, John1), son of Norman8 and Mary Wilcox (Forsyth) Whitney, was born 11 Feb 1828, Keeseville, NY.

He married, 1849, Glens Falls, NY, Julia Van Dusen. She was born 1834.

He is a lumber dealer and sash manufacturer; resided Moreau, NY, and Steven's Point, WI.

Children of Henry J.9 and Julia (Van Dusen) Whitney:

i. James Henry10 Whitney, b. 5 Nov 1854; m. Anna Robbins.
