Family:Whitney, Henry O. (1845-a1910)

Henry O.⁸ Whitney (Hollis B.⁷, Isaac ⁶, Isaac⁵, Lemuel⁴, Moses³, Richard², John¹), son of Hollis B.⁷ and Elsina A. (Towle) Whitney, was born 12 Nov 1845, Canaan, NH, and died after 1910.^[1]

He married 8 Jul 1871, Alton, NH, Susan E. Ames, daughter of Thompson and Naomi (Flanders) Ames.^[2] She was born 20 Sep 1846, Gilford, NH, and died 15 Aug 1888, Canaan, NH.^[3]

He possibly married secondly 1 Dec 1900, Canaan, NH, Isabelle Moulton,^[4] but no additional records supporting this union have been found.

Note: There is a death record indicating he died 13 Dec 1900, Canaan, NH,^[5] but this is contradicted by the 1910 census record below.
