Hiram⁷ Whitney (Isaac⁶, Daniel⁵, Daniel⁴, Jonathan³, Jonathan², John¹), son of Isaac⁶ and Arilles (Phetteplace) Whitney, was born circa 1808, NY, and died 19 Oct 1882, Lisbon, NY.

He married ca. 1832, NY, Marilla S. ------, parentage unknown. She was born 1811, MA, and died 21 May 1896, Saint Lawrence Co., NY.

Hiram is probably a son of Isaac Whitney (1774-1841) based upon census reconstruction with a process of elimination of unknown Whitneys in the region at the time. Hiram also named a son Isaac.
