Hiram Marshall⁸ Whitney (Hiram⁷, Timothy Holt⁶, Richard⁵, Israel⁴, Ebenezer³, Richard², John¹), son of Hiram⁷ and Fannie (Perham) Whitney, was born about 1830, VT, and died after 1880.

He married firstly, 5 Sep 1853, Newfane, VT, Emeline Nancy Lawrence.^[1] She was born about 1830, VT.

He married secondly, before 1880, Almira (-----) Upton. She was born about 1839, VT.
