Homer Amos9 Whitney (Lucius8, Benjamin7, Lemuel6, Joshua5, Nathaniel4, Nathaniel3, John2, John1), son of Lucius8 and Thankful (French) Whitney, was born 7 Sep 1846, Wadhams, NY, and died 29 Aug 1910, Minneapolis, MN, aged 63 years, widowed, farmer.

He married firstly, 11 Jan 1877, Chicopee, MA, Elener Beddow, daughter of Mark and Ann (Darlington) Beddow.[1] She was born about 1844, England, and died 28 May 1879, Holyoke, MA, aged 37, of childbirth.[2]

He married secondly, 10 Nov 1879, Holyoke, MA, Adelaide (Burrill) Piper, daughter of Lemuel and Mary C. (Doane) Burrell.[3] She was born about 1846, Boston, MA, and died after 1880.

Children of Homer Amos9 and Elener (Beddow) Whitney:

i. Bertha E.10 Whitney, b. ca. 25 Mar 1879, Holyoke, MA; d. 29 Sep 1880, Holyoke, MA, aged 1 year 6 months 4 days, of remittent fever and congestion of the lungs.[4]
