Ira7 Whitney (Joseph6, James5, James4, Henry3, John2, Henry1), son of Joseph6 and Hannah (Roberson) Whitney, was born 13 Jan 1822, Southeast, NY, and died 16 Apr 1861, being buried in Somers, NY.
He married, 11 Jan 1847, Southeast, NY, Sarah Ann Ferguson, daughter of Lewis and Nomina (Ganun) Ferguson. She was born about 1827, Southeast, NY, and died after 1880. She married secondly, 25 Dec 1870, Purdy's Station, NY, Daniel Haviland, and was living at Danbury, CT, in 1880.
