He married, 19 Mar 1891, Waterloo, IA, Hannah Jane Allen, daughter of Thomas and Honor (Tregloan) Allen. She was born 18 Oct 1862, Hazel Green, WI, and died 7 Nov 1943, Waterloo, IA. She was buried in Fairview Cemetery, Waterloo, IA.^[2]
