Dr. Isaiah7 Whitney (Isaiah6, Isaiah5, Isaiah4, Isaiah3, Thomas2, John1), son of Isaiah6 and Dorcas (Whitman) Whitney, was born 25 Jan 1799, Rindge, NH,[1] and died 10 Dec 1866, Provincetown, MA, aged 66 years 10 months 16 days, of palsy.[2]

He married firstly, 10 May 1832, Provincetown, MA, Henrietta A. Nickerson, daughter of Seth and Ruth (Atkins) Nickerson. She was born about Jun 1815, Provincetown, MA, and died 21 Aug 1848, Provincetown, MA, aged 33 years 2 months, of dysentery.[3]

He married secondly, 4 Feb 1849, Provincetown, MA, Sarah P. Small,[4] daughter of Isaac and Hannah Nye (Parker) Smalley/Small. She was born 3 Nov 1827, Provincetown, MA, and died 15 Feb 1851, Provincetown, MA, aged 23 years 3 months 12 days, of consumption.[5]

He married thirdly, 28 Aug 1851, Provincetown, MA, Mrs. Hannah Eldred (Freeman) Crosby, daughter of Joshua and Abigail (Fuller) Freeman.[6] She was born 15 May 1817, Sandwich, MA, and died 4 Nov 1904, Worcester, MA, aged 87 years 5 months 30 days, of chronic enteritis.[7] She resided Cleveland, OH. She had married firstly, 18 Jun 1845, Worcester, MA, Ambrose Crosby (1817-1847).

Dr. Whitney studied medicine with his father and began the practice of his profession in Marlborough, MA, and moved to Provincetown, where he enjoyed an extensive practice until his demise. He resided Provincetown, MA.

iii. Henrietta Whitney, b. 9 Oct 1838, Provincetown, MA;[12] resided Provincetown, MA; d. aft. 1900, then unmarried.
iv. Felicia Whitney, b. 19 May 1841, Provincetown, MA;[13] d. 26 Aug 1842, Provincetown, MA.[14]
v. Isaiah Whitney, b. 30 Aug 1843, Provincetown, MA;[15] resided Boston, MA; salesman.
vi. Charles H. Whitney, b. 11 Dec 1854, Provincetown, MA;[16] resided Boston, MA.

i. Abby Freeman Crosby, b. 15 Jun 1846, Billerica or New Bedford, MA; d. 3 Apr 1847, Billerica, MA.
