Jabez5 Whitney (Joshua4, Joshua3, Benjamin2, John1) son of Joshua4 and Phebe (-----) Whitney,[1] was born 8 Jan 1750, Medway, MA,[2] and died 30 Jan 1825, Hinsdale, MA, aged 74 years,[3] or Windsor, MA, aged 72 years, or in his 76th year.[4]
He married firstly, 20 Oct 1771, Medway, MA, Experience Fairbanks,[5] daughter of Jonas and Experience (Lealand) Fairbanks. She was born 15 Apr 1755, Medway MA, and died 19 Nov 1805, Hinsdale, MA, aged 51 years.[6]
Marriage intentions were published before 27 Jul 1806, Hinsdale, MA, for him and Mrs. ----- Davis.[7] He married secondly, 6 Mar 1806, Peru, MA, Mrs. Hannah (-----) Davis,[8] parentage, birth, and death unknown.
Hannah may be widow Hannah B. Whitney who died 10 Mar 1849, Westfield, aged 87 years, and so born about 1761-1762,[9] and was buried in the Old Burying Ground, Westfield, MA.[10]
