He married, 1801, Northampton Co., NC, Julia Berry, daughter of Peter and Violet Berry. She was born 1778 NC, and died circa 1866, Johnston Co., NC.

v.	Jacob Whitney, b. ca. 1816, Johnston Co., NC, and died ca. 1868, OH.
vi.	Lewis Whitney, b. ca. 1816, NC, and died 1868, Orange Co., NC.
vii.	Martha Whitney, b. ca. 1818, Johnston Co., NC, and died 1897, NC.
viii.	Isabella Whitney, b. ca. 1820, NC, and died 23 Dec 1877, VA.
