James7 Whitney (John6, James5, James4, John3, Jonathan2, John1), son of John6 and Hannah (Holbrook) Whitney, was born 8 Sep 1779, Sherborn, MA,[1] and died 22 Nov 1850, Sherborn, MA, aged 72 years, of mortification.[2]

He married, about 1803, Lois Blodgett. She was born 1785, Whitestown, NY, and died 2 Nov 1868, Sherborn, MA, aged 84 years 8 months 17 days, of debility from old age.[3]

He was a farmer and prominent citizen. He resided Sherborn, MA.
