James Coxetter7 Whitney (John Angier6, George5, Jason4, Mark3, Benjamin2, John1), son of John Angier6 and Sarah Elizabeth (Thomson) Whitney, was born 5 Sep 1863, Natick, MA, and died 27 Nov 1893, Needham, MA, aged 30 years 2 months 22 days, of typhoid fever.[1]

He married, 18 Sep 1890, St. John, NB, Maria Louise Horton, daughter of Henry and Mary E. (Kay) Horton. She was born 2 May 1863, St. John, NB. She married secondly, 13 Jun 1907, New Bedford, MA, Henry S. Foster, born about 1865, New Bedford, MA, son of John M. and Esther H. (Sowle) Foster.[2]

He was an attorney at law in Boston. He resided Needham, MA; s. p.
