James Kenneth Whitney (James Clarence, James, Jacob M., James), son of James Clarence and Laura I. (Pickering) Whitney, was born Jun 1899, WA, and died after 1930.

He married, 3 Nov 1918, Lane Co., OR, Grace A. Clark.[1] She was born between 1894 and 1900, WA.

In 1920 James K. Whitney was a logger in McCleary, Gray's Harbor Co., WA. In 1930, he was a well driller in Portland, Multnomah Co., OR.
