Jason Darius9 Whitney (Hiram8, John Rodman7, William6, Thomas5, William4, William3, Joshua2, John1), son of Hiram8 and Mary Louisa (Juckett) Whitney, was born 10 or 20 Jun 1848, Henrietta, OH, 23 Nov 1930, Rocky River Village, OH, aged 83 years 5 months 3 days. He was buried in Woodlawn Cemetery, Norwalk, OH.[1]

He married, -- Aug 1871, Mary Anna Tillinghast, daughter of George and Mary Updike (Eldred) Tillinghast. She was born 15 Mar 1843, OH, and died 2 Dec 1930, Berlin, OH, aged 86 years 8 months 17 days. She was buried in Woodlawn Cemetery, Norwalk, OH.[2]

On 27 Mar 1930, in Ohio, Jason D. Whitney applied for a disability pension for service in the Civil War, in Unassigned U.S. Volunteers. The Application Number was 1,663,768, and the Certificate Number was 2,611,876.
