Jesse R.⁹ Whitney (Alexas R.⁸, Nathan⁷, Nathan⁶, Jonathan⁵, Jonathan⁴, Jonathan³, Benjamin², John¹), son of Alexas R.⁸ and Mary J. (Oakley) Whitney, was born 14 Mar 1854, IL, and died after 1900.

He married, 17 May 1875, Ida M. Dysart. She was born about 1858, IL, and died after 1900.

He resided Franklin Grove, IL, and Carroll, IA.
