Joel6 Whitney (Joel5, Abel4, Nathaniel3, Benjamin2, John1), son of Joel5, Jr., and Mary (Weston) Whitney, was born 26 Jun 1778, Chandler's River, ME, and died 24 Apr 1861, St. Stephen, NB.

He married, say 1802, Anna Moore, daughter of William and Hannah (Livingstone) Moore. She was born 8 Oct 1786, New Boston, NH (or St. Stephen, NB), and d. 12 Feb 1847, St. Stephen, NB.
