John⁷ Whitney (Oliver⁶, David⁵, Nathaniel⁴, Nathaniel³, John², John¹), son of Oliver⁶ and Hannah (Chase) Whitney, was born 21 Jan 1784, Nelson, NH, and died 27 Sep 1852, Ludlow, VT.

He married, 9 May 1813, Ludlow, VT, Mary Spaulding,^[1] daughter of Zebulon and Molly (Mears) Spaulding. She was born 22 Apr 1796, Chelmsford, MA, and died 19 Oct 1880, Ludlow, VT.

He was a farmer. He resided Ludlow, VT.
