Family:Whitney, John (c1857-a1920)
John2 Whitney (Bernard1), son of Bernard1 and Catherine (Sweeney) Whitney), was born about 1857 or Jan 1860, Ireland,[1] and died after 1920.
He married, 23 Nov 1892, Brockton, MA, Margaret Howard, dau. of Timothy and Margaret (Desmond) Howard.[2] She was born about 1868 or Mar 1863, Ireland, and died after 1920. In the children's birth records, she is called Meagan.
He immigrated to America, arriving 27 Aug 1881 at Boston, MA, from Liverpool, England, on the "Missouri", aged 23 years.[3]
