John D.9 Whitney (Levi S.8, Joel7, Elijah6, Thomas5, Thomas4, Eleazer3, Thomas2, John1), son of Levi S.8 and Sarah Eddy (Knapp) Whitney, was born about 14 Nov 1839, MA, and died 14 Nov 1903, Millbury, MA, aged 64 years 0 months 0 days, of diabetes mellitus.[1]

He married, 19 Jan 1861, Webster, MA, Henrietta F. Watson, daughter of Charles F. and Harriet (-----) Watson. She was born about 1844, Oxford, MA.[2]
