Family:Whitney, John Godfrey (1798-1883)

John Godfrey⁶ Whitney (Nathan⁵, Benjamin⁴, John³, Benjamin², John¹), born Lisbon, Maine, 3 Mar 1798; married 20 Oct 1823, Mary Allen; born 24 Jul 1804. He was a farmer and by trade a carpenter and joiner. He died 2 Jul 1883; resided Readfield, Maine.

Children of John Godfrey⁶ Whitney:

i.	Wilson7 Whitney, born 5 Mar 1845; married Mary Aphia Goodell.
ii.	J. Chester Whitney, born -----; resided 304 20th Ave., N., Minneapolis, Minnesota.
