John Henry7 Whitney (David St. John6, Henry5, Henry4, Henry3, John2, Henry1), son of David St. John6 and Lois (Northrop) Whitney, was born 31 Dec 1827, Sidney, NY, and died after 1880.
He married, 26 Sep 1854, Unadilla, NY, Anna Jane Griffin, daughter of Obadiah and Martha (Kenyon) Griffin. She was born 20 Apr 1835, Meredith, NY, and died after 1880.
Phoenix says the following:
- ". . . a farmer . . . . They settled at Sidney Centre, N.Y., where her parents then dwelt, and lived there till 24 Dec. 1856; at Gorham, Ohio, till 27 Nov. 1864; at Mason, Mich., till 5 Ap. 1869; and then moved to Medina, Mich., where they were living in Jan. 1875."
