John Rodman8 Whitney (John Rodman7, William6, Thomas5, William4, William3, Joshua2, John1), son of John Rodman7 and Catherine (Schoonover) Whitney, was born 12 Oct 1808, Broome Co., NY, and died 29 Mar 1885.
He married Emma Jane Farmer (or Eunice Jane Farmer). She was born about 1816, PA, and died Oct 1869, Binghamton, NY, aged 54 of erysipelas.[1]
