John Thomas W.⁸ Whitney (Newhall⁷, Benjamin⁶, Solomon⁵, Benjamin⁴, Thomas³, Thomas², John¹), son of Newhall⁷ and Elizabeth (Whitehead) Whitney, was born 31 Aug 1822, Three Rivers, St. Maurice Co., QC, or Kingsey, QC, and died 2 Apr 1910, Soldiers' Home, Chelsea, MA, aged 87 years 8 months 1 day, of hemiplegia, cerebral hemorrhage, and heart disease.^[1]
