He married, Peru, OH, 25 May 1881, Peru, OH, Carra E. Hoskins, of Norwalk, OH. She was born 20 Feb 1857.
He was born at the Whitney homestead, east of Loudonville; has been a resident of that town since, the farm, since his brother's death, and the care of his mother occupying his time. In the spring of 1881 he married Miss Carra Hoskins, of Norwalk, northern Ohio. They have one son; resided Loudonville, OH.

i. John Wright9 Whitney, b. 25 Jul 1882.
