Josiah M. Whitney, parentage unknown (but see Notes below), was born say 1815 and died after 1845.
Marriage intentions were published 18 Aug 1838, Malden, MA, for him "of Malden" and Abigail B. Ford "of Chelsea.[1] Marriage intentions were published 19 Aug 1838, Chelsea, MA, for him "of Malden" and Abigail B. Ford.[2] He married Abigail B. Ford.
He was a wheelwright.
Children of Josiah M. and Abigail B. (Ford) Whitney:
i. (daughter) Whitney, b. about 1839; known from 1840 census. ii. Newell Augustus Whitney, b. 9 Feb 1845, Lowell, MA.[3]
