Lewis⁷ Whitney (Abel⁶, Benjamin⁵, Joseph⁴, Joseph³, Jonathan², John¹), son of Abel⁶ and Phebe (Scott) Whitney, was born 6 Jan 1800, Tunbridge, VT, and died 14 Apr 1873, Tunbridge, VT.

He married, 6 Aug 1857, Emeline Nutting, of Pepperell, MA, daughter of Timothy and Fanny (Farnsworth) Nutting. She was born Sep 1828, Pepperell, MA, and died 9 Feb 1872, Pepperell, MA.

He resided Tunbridge, VT.

Children of Lewis⁷ and Emeline (Nutting) Whitney:

i.	Frank Scott8 Whitney, b. 19 Nov 1859; resided Pepperell, MA. The 1900 census lists him as having been married for 14 years, but he is living alone with a servant.
