Lewis8 Whitney (Joel7, Elijah6, Thomas5, Thomas4, Eleazer3, Thomas2, John1), son of Joel7 and Abial (Nason) Whitney, was born 17 Apr 1818, Sutton, MA,[1] and died 14 May 1892, Grafton, MA.[2]

Marriage intentions were published 7 Apr 1842, Grafton, MA, for him and Lucy Goddard "of Webster".[3] He married, 5 May 1842, Webster, MA, Lucy Goddard,[4] daughter of Ebenezer and Lucy (Wright) Goddard. She was born 25 Feb 1816, Orange, MA.
