Lucius B.⁸ Whitney (Ward⁷, Abel⁶, Timothy⁵, Jonas⁴, Moses³, Richard², John¹), son of Ward⁷ and Katherine (Cook) Whitney, was born about 1813, VT, and died 22 Feb 1878, Ludlow, VT. He was buried in Pleasant View Cemetery, Ludlow, VT.^[1]

He married, before 1836, Clarissa Pratt, daughter of Laban and Tamer (Aldrich) Pratt. She was born 23 May 1814 or 2 Jun 1814, Shrewsbury, VT,^[2] and died 6 Apr 1887, Ludlow, VT. She was buried in Pleasant View Cemetery, Ludlow, VT.^[3]

They lived in Ludlow and probably Plymouth, VT.
