Notes

Lucy Chester, daughter of Prince and Cate (-----) Chester, negroes, was born 20 Sep 1774, Boxborough, MA,[18] and "Miss" died 23 Jun 1849, aged 75 years.[19] Apparently her daughter Lucy Whitney was born illegitimately to her and some unknown white Whitney male, since Lucy Whitney was listed as a mulatto at her death. Lucy Whitney's husbands were both negroes.
