Marcus "Mark"9 Whitney (Jabez Mark8, John Wheeler7, Jabez6, Phineas5, Isaac4, Nathaniel3, Benjamin2, John1), son of Jabez Mark8 and Josephine Etta {Cardinall) Whitney, was born 19 Mar 1873, St Cloud, MN, and died 6 Jun 1936, Minneapolis, MN.
He married 17 May 1912, Florence (Hudson) Van Der Hoeve. She was born 21 Oct 1869, Minnesota.
Florence had married firstly, Adrian Van Der Hoeve, 2 Nov 1899. They were divorced. He was b. May 1872, Netherlands, and d. 1 May 1926, Hennepin Co., Minnesota.
Mark Whitney was a pipe layer for the City of Minneapolis in the 1910 Federal Census. He was also a soldier, serving in the Spanish American War in Co. A, 15th Minnesota Infantry. He received a pension for his service.
No children have been identified.
