Margaret5 Whitney (John4, Richard3, John2, Henry1), daughter of John4 and Deborah (Smith) Whitney, was born Branford, CT, baptized 3 Jul 1768, Branford, CT, and died at Killingworth, now Clinton. She was buried in Clinton, CT.

She married firstly, Branford, CT, George Farrell, a ship-builder. He was born RI, and died Guilford, CT. He was buried in Guilford, CT.

She married secondly, 13 Dec 1807, Sylvester Redfield, son of Daniel and Elizabeth (-----) Redfield. He was born 13 May 1744, Killingworth, CT, and died 9 Sep 1823 in his 80th year. He was buried in Clinton, CT.

George and Margaret settled in Guilford, CT.

Sylvester and Margaret settled at Killingworth, now Clinton, CT.

Guilford Cemetery, Guilford, CT, son of Aaron and Cynthia (-----) Baldwin, of Clinton, CT; a merchant; res. Guilford and Clinton, CT; m.(2) 1 Oct 1843, New Haven, CT, Richard Thomas, of West Haven, CT; a farmer; res. West Haven, CT.

Children of Sylvester and Margaret5 (Whitney)(Farrell) Redfield:

i. Phebe Ann Redfield, b. 22 Dec 1808, Clinton, CT; d. 25 Feb 1843; m. 1827, Edward Griswold, of Clinton, son of Levi and Abby (Kelsey) Griswold.
