He married, 16 Aug 1838, Westminster, VT, Lucy Sanderson, daughter of Samuel and Charlotte (Parker) Sanderson. She was born 6 July 1817, Westminster, VT,[4] and died 14 Aug 1884, Putney, VT.[5] She was buried in West Hill Cemetery, Putney, VT.[6]
