Nathan6 Whitney (Jonathan5, Jonathan4, Jonathan3, Benjamin2, John1), son of Jonathan5 and Esther (Parkhurst) Whitney, was born 18 Oct 1761, Conway, MA,[1] and died 19 Apr 1838, Seneca Castle, NY.

Intentions of marriage were published 18 Oct 1780, Conway, MA, for him and Olive6 Whitney, "both of Conway".[2] He married firstly, 1 Nov 1780, Conway, MA, Olive6 Whitney, dau. of Lieut. Jesse5 and Mary (Cheney) Whitney. She was born 19 Feb 1758, and died 17 Nov 1829, Seneca Castle, NY.

He married secondly, after 1829, Thankful (Paine) Caldwell, daughter of Nathan and Lillis/Zellis (Winsor) Paine. She was born 4 Oct 1780, Glocester, RI, and died 11 Nov 1864, Seneca, NY. She had married firstly, Daniel Colwell (1778-1823).

He was born in Conway, MA, where he resided until 1792, when he emigrated to Seneca Castle, NY, where he was one of the first pioneers. Nearly all of his children were noted for their longevity. He was a farmer. He resided Seneca Castle, NY.
