Nathan6 Whitney (David5, Nathan4, Nathaniel3, Benjamin2, John1), son of David5 and Rebecca (Edgecom) Whitney, was born 10 Sep or 9 Oct 1769, Gorham, ME,[1] and died 4 Jun 1852, Marietta, OH, aged 83 years. He was buried in Hill Cemetery, Newport, OH.[2]

Marriage intentions were published, 3 Mar 1796, Hallowell, ME, for him and Eunice Cottle,[3] daughter of Isaac and Rhoda (Manchester) Cottle.
