Family:Whitney, Oliver (1764-1826)

Oliver⁷ Whitney (Silas⁶, David⁵, Benjamin⁴, Thomas³, Thomas², John¹), son of Silas⁶ and Jane (Pearson) Whitney, was born 16 Sep 1764, Winchendon, MA,^[1] and died said 1826, Saint Armand, QC.

He married Abigail Crampton.

He was born in Princeton, MA, later resided in Winchendon, MA, Rindge, NH, and Clarendon, VT. He was in business in the latter place and lost a large amount of property by endorsing paper for friends. He died at Saint Armand, Canada. He resided Clarendon, VT, and Saint Armand, Canada East.

• 1800, Clarendon, Rutland Co., VT: Whitney, Oliver, 1 male 26-44, 2 males 10-15, 1 male 0-9, 1 female 16-25, 1 female 10-15, and 1 female 0-9.
• 1810: not found. May have moved to Canada by this time.
• 1825, St. Armand, Bedford Co., QC: Oliver Whitney, 3 people; 1 male 6-13, 1 married male 40-59, and 1 married female 14-44.
• 1831: not found.
