Oliver⁸ Whitney (Oliver⁷, Silas⁶, David⁵, Benjamin⁴, Thomas³, Thomas², John¹), son of Oliver⁷ and Abigail (Crampton) Whitney, was born 1786, Clarendon, VT, and died 21 Aug 1824, Saint Armand, QC.

He married firstly, Arlington, VT, Rebecca Leonard. She was born 1788, and died 11 Dec 1814, St. Armand, QC, aged 26.

He married secondly, ----- -----.

He was born in Clarendon, VT, but moved to Canada with his father when quite young. He was married the first time at Arlington, VT. She died at Saint Armand, Canada. He was a farmer and followed agricultural pursuits all his life. He resided Philipsburg, Canada, and Saint Armand, QC.

He is a tanner and currier. She d. Apr 1894. Children: a. Sarah F. Clement, b. 22 May 1852; d. 30 Sep 1872. b. John K. Clement, b. 20 Oct 1850. c. Archie L. Clement, b. 15 Jan 1865; m.
