Oliver6 Whitney (Daniel5, Daniel4, Joseph3, Jonathan2, John1), son of Daniel5 and Sarah (Willard) Whitney, was born 28 Jun 1789, Marlborough, NH,[1] and died 18 Mar 1866, Salisbury, VT.[2] He was buried West Salisbury, VT.
He married firstly, 2 Apr 1809, Salisbury, VT, Sarah Eggleston,[3] daughter of Timothy and Lydia (Hall) Eggleston. She was born 24 Jul 1787, Croydon, NH,[4] and died 29 Oct 1830, Salisbury, VT.[5] She was buried West Salisbury, VT.
He married secondly, 15 Jan 1832, Salisbury, VT, Sarah (Spencer) Waterman,[6] daughter of Jabez and Joanna (Ives) Spencer. She was born 4 October 1794, New Haven Connecticut and died 4 November 1862 Moira, NY. She had married firstly Stephen Waterman.
Oliver was a veteran of the war of 1812. He also resided for a time in Moira, Franklin Co., NY.
