Reuben7 Whitney (Reuben6, Phineas5, Isaac4, Nathaniel3, Benjamin2, John1), son of Reuben6 and Lucy (Sawyer) Whitney, was baptized 20 Nov 1828, Brunswick, ME,[1] and died 1 May 1892.
Marriage intentions were published 24 Sep 1853, Lewiston, ME, for him "Mr." "of Lewiston" and "Miss" Mary E. Allen "of Bowdoin".[2] He married firstly, before 1854, Mary E. Allen.[3] She was born 15 May 1833, Brunswick, ME,[4] and died 13 Sept 1870, Brunswick, ME, aged 37 years, 4 months.[5]
He married secondly, 12 Oct 1872, Brunswick, ME, Melissa Ellen Cox,[6] daughter of Sewall and Charlotte Lamb (Johnson) Cox. She was born 14 Dec 1849, and died 1913.
All three are buried in Hillside Cemetery, Lisbon Falls, ME.
