Samuel Johnson Whitney (Henry, John Johnson, Simon, Thomas, John), son of Henry Sarah (Laud) Whitney, was born 17 Apr 1857, Coates, Cambridgeshire, was baptized 5 Jul 1857, Coates, Cambridgeshire, and died 11 Jan 1891, Huntingdon, Huntingdonshire.
He married, 1880, Peterborough, Northamptonshire, Sarah Elizabeth Lightfoot, daughter of John and Hannah (-----) Lightfoot. She was born 1858, Great Raveley, Huntingdonshire, and died 1919, Oundle, Northamptonshire.
